Hey All,
Got a savage 64f a while back as a birthday gift, been having some feeding issues but looked it up and have a good idea how to fix it but my main issue is shooting at 25-50 yards i consistently hit ~3-4" up and left of where I am aiming, even with the sight adjusted to its highest setting. Got a buddy (who is a much better shot than I) to put a few through it and he had the same problem to a slightly lower degree. The iron sights that came on the gun are pretty flimsy which is what i think it the problem. I am planning on keeping it mostly as a plinking gun so was wondering what would be the best (preferably low mag) optic/scope to put on it?

get something that is a dedicated rimfire scope paralex set to 50 yards it will be clearer at shorter distances.

simmons 22 mag 3-9x32 with adjustable objective would probably be good enough for plinking ,$99 at cabelas they seem to get good reviews. If you want something better you could step up to a nikon rimfire 3-9x40 $189.If you don`t care about magnification you could try a red dot.Scopes are more versatile . Use the search function you will find lots of opinions. Same question has been asked, actually think there is a thread on optics for that same rifle.
