Savage 64F vs Stevens 300 vs Mark II

Hello,

I am looking to purchase my first rifle and wanted some opinions. I have been looking online at the three rifles listed in the subject line and am leaning towards the Mark II. They are all around the same price and all are .22LR. The 64F is a semi auto while the other two are both bolt.

I am just looking for something to have a little fun and gain some experience before upgrading to a higher caliber. I am not competition shooting or hunting with it and not looking to hit any insane distances or dime sized groupings.

If anyone owns/owned any of these or has any experience or opinions on them please let me know what you think.

Can't go wrong with any of your choices as they are decent guns made by the same company, but if accuracy is your game, go with a Savage MKII with accutrigger, wood stock and bull barrel.

I have a Mark II with bull barrel, just love it, calling it my baby

I would recommend it to anyone. Just one thing, I have thumbhole stock, it's pretty heavy.

If you want a bolt action the markII would be the one to get
