I have a Lakefield. Its pretty good, the weakest link being the trigger feel. Decent sights, and accuracy. (I shoot 1/2" ctc, 5 and 10 shot groups with it at 50 yards, rested.)
Its certainly good enough to tell that quality target ammo shoots more consistently than cheap bulk pac type stuff or even cheap target stuff.
Usually considered an excellent value in a beginner/intermediate biathlon rifle.
