Savage 93 , factory scope base.

Hey,

I am using the factory bases on my 93 in .22 win mag. I have a set of basic weaver rings with a 3-9X40 Vortex Crossfire scope on it. I have not had any problems so far.

Cheers,

Mine is chambered in .17 hmr with a similar 4-12 vortex scope on it. It shoots ridiculously good! It would never be any better with another set of bases, thats for sure.

I find the bases to be fine. They do need to be properly mounted though.

I have found them to be a tad low with some ring/scope combinations. A couple of higher bases such as the Weaver #68 solves the issue.

I actually swapped mine out,can do well under MOA with my little 17HMR @100 yards.

But I do wager that the rifle will do much better with a competent shooter on the trigger.

I had some issues with mine, with standard rings I could not get the side focus on my scope to work as it was binding.

Changed scope to an AO and rings to burris sigs, couldn't bore sight my scope so i switched them front to back and turned both around. It worked to center my scope and it shoots great.

I think they are okay if mounted right, but a nice 1 piece would be better.
