A while back I had a post about a .22 I was interested in getting, but I am really in the market now and the CZ seems a little pricey at the moment. As mentioned in the previous post, it will be used monstly for small game/varmint hunting, 50/50. I am pretty much set on the Savage 93FVSS since I like the stainless barrel/action and synthetic stock, meaning less cleaning and less rust since it'll be used alot during the winter/spring, I like the idea of a heavy barrel and bolt action for accuracy, and I like the fact it comes with the accutrigger and a riflescope already. I'm pretty sure I'm right, but just to make sure, you can use .22LR/shorts in a WMR, right? As for the Remington 597, I like the look of the laminate stock, and the fact that it's semi-automatic (I like semi's for some reason, and all of my firearms so far are semi-auto). I'm really going towards the 93FVSS, just want some secondary opinions and/or reviews of these two rifles?

Thanks.;)
