Savage 93R17 GV Impressed So Far

Just arrived today in the mail.Courtesy of another gun nut.I put a B&L balfor I had here and some extended weaver rings {the regulars would'nt fit the bases }
I went out and sighted in at 25yds then went to 50yds.

this group is 15 shots @ 50 yds

I am impressed,the trigger can use a little lightening.Pretty decent for the first time out.

Just wait to shoot at 200 yds, you'll get about the same group if its a calm day!!! After 5 rounds at 100 yds there is only 1 hole (all 5 touching) with my little savage. Great paint job

No I did'nt.It is duracoat though,I am a fan of the paint and have used it on a few rifles myself.RB

1 1/2" groups @ 200m, ragged hole 5 shot groups at 100m You wouldnt be exaggerating a little would you?

Looks like a nice little rig you got there. I just looked them up on SIR and for the price point its hard to beat also.
