Savage 93r17GV pre accutrigger

I am looking at a used 93r17GV that is pre accutrigger.
Are these triggers adjustable?
Is there a history of these being lousy triggers?
Aftermarket trigger availability in Canada?
Cost?
From what I have read this rifle should be a shooter,I am just trying to figure out what I can change if need be.

Rimfirecentral.com has a sticky on factory trigger mods (savage/shim and spring clip). Did this to mine and it's an acceptable, if not perfect, 3lb-ish. Shoots sub moa all day long.
