Savage 99 collecters

Hello

I have recently come acquired 4 Savage 99s and 1 Savage 1895. They are all in poor condition with no stocks. I am considering restoring some and selling others. I was hoping someone could tell me the value of these as they are and once they are restored. Specifically the model 1895 which is carbine in 303 Savage.

The 99s are:

1929 take down in 250 3000
1904 half octagon barrel in 30-30
1958 300 Savage
full octagon barrel in 303 Savage

I am assuming the 99s are in the 600-1400 dollar range. But I can't find much information on the 1895.

Any information would be much appreciated. Or if someone could get me into contact with a collecter/expert that would be great.

As they are not much as I would class them as parts. The question I have is if they don’t have their wood why. What other issues do they have due to being stripped. It will cost you probably the same or more to restore them as compared to buying an original. Older parts aren’t easy to find, especially the wood. If your restoring to make money not a good idea as it’s unlikely you will get your money back. If doing it because you enjoy doing it well have fun.
Take my advice for what it’s worth as this is the evil number post of 6666.

I think Snider is on the mark. Tough to find one decent stock set, let alone several.

I think the '58 is the most 'common', and might have a receiver that's drilled for scope mounts by that year. The other 3 are more unique and potentially of interest to collectors who might be looking for parts.
