any one know of accessories for the savage rimfires such as stocks i know most Rim Fire i have seen stuff is for the 10/22 but isthere any thing for the savage? i am looking to get a 93r17 package with my dad just wondering if after a while if there are any add ons or upgrades that can be made

Boyds has a couple of laminated stocks to choose from but you cannot mess with perfection and that is why there are no accessorys for alsmost all firearms except for the ruger 10/22:popCorn:
 
Unfortuantely there really insn't too much out there in terms of afermarket parts for the Savages. The only possiblility that I can think of right now is to get a stock blank and get a gunsmith to fit it to the action but that would most likely be very expensive :(. You might want to look at Boydes website, or Revival insustries stocks.

If I ever get posted back to AB, or anywhere with gophers for that matter, I am RUSHING to the local store to buy another of their 93R17s.

Laminate thumbhole stock, accutrigger, such a sweet barrel. Just add glass and your got the ultimate rimfire gopher slayer as far as I am concerned.

If you just want a pimped blaster, there realy is only one way to go.
 
John from SharpShooterSupplies makes aftermarket triggers and stocks for any 93 or MarkII action. They will ship to Canada. Only laminate stocks with two configurations. Nobody makes barrels for them yet.
 
"...any thing for the Savage?..." If you mean larger mags, flash hiders, folding stocks or all the other daft stuff that can be had for a 10/22, no. There's not much aftermarket stuff for any bolt action rimfire though.
 
i ment more allong the lines of a better stock down the line if i bought a sythtic and wanted to move up to a wood stock and maybe recoil pads not that there would be much use the standard stocks are far less pleasing then the BTVS has though it is 100 bucks more then the package rifle and doesn't come with a scope or rings

i doubted there would be much available any ways thought i'd see inf any one knew of any
