I've got a Savage Model 111FCXP3 and want to know if the Accu Trigger can be installed in my rifle. Its a 7mm Rem Mag if this makes any difference. Any help is much appreciated.
Nope. Well a machinist gunsmith could but wouldn't because the price would be more than a new rifle. You can do a search for trigger job but remember that its a hunting rifle not a target rifle.
if you want to upgrade the Rifle Basix triggers for the Savage are pretty good from what i hear. They also will not break the bank and come with instructions for installation.
I've had two rifles with accutriggers, sold them both. They weren't all that great. They are definitely better than the 12 pound triggers on most factory rifles though. bearhunter
Shoot it first, Then if the trigger is excessively heavy, have a trigger job done or just change the springs. Mind you, the trigger is likely adjustable anyway.
