Savage Accustock

I'e been reading up about the Accustock. The first version with a screw tightened wedge block seemed to be difficult to set up properly. However, I can't find any current articles about the two screw stock. Most of the articles I've read were from 2009 to 2012.

Does the lack of current articles mean that the problems were solved since nobody seems to be complaining about it anymore?

I'm curious about this as well. I've been checking them out lately and am interested in opinions both good and bad.

Getting the trhee screws torqued properly to maintain accuracy if you have the action out of the stock.

Gotcha. I've only had my action out once and didn't experience any issues getting it back in. The accuracy remained excellent.

The newer accustock is just an easy drop in and torque the two screws down... the wedge wasn't really much harder but seemed to baffle some people on proper torque sequence with the one extra screw.
