Savage arms model 30 ranger?

I found my fathers old shotgun. It is pretty rusted up, on the barrel it reads manufactured by savage arms, proof tested 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch chamber. Picture shows what's on receiver. Wondering if anyone else has one of these? I'd like to get some more information on them. Cannot find any anywhere online. Looking forward to hearing more about this shotgun! Thank you
