Hi, I'm looking for a bolt action rifle in .223 in an aluminum chassis for punching paper out to 300 yards.
Looking to spend under $1500, so I'm looking for real world reviews of either of these 2 rifles.

I have an Axis II in .243. The accuracy is very good, I’ve have 3-shot groups from 0.49 to 0.192” at 100m. Several weeks ago I shot my first precision competition with this rifle and hit some targets out to 450m. Hit some as in the rifle is much more accurate than the shooter. I will continue to hopefully improve my hits with this platform. No experience with the Bison so cannot comment.
