Just purchased a new .223 for varmint hunting.
Was wondering if anyone out there knew the best available source in canada for cheap ammo for her.
Also, have seen a lot of debate about weather or not a nato 5.56 round will fire from this rifle, but never heard of anyone actually trying it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
 
Hi. Milsurp ammo won't bother it. There's no such thing as cheap ammo any more, but try some Winchester 'White box'(literally in a plain white box vs the box Super-X comes in.), if you can find any locally. Walmart have a shop in Cornwall? They might have some. White box ammo is usually inexpensive.
You really need to try a box of as many brands as you can to find the ammo your rifle shoots best. The price means nothing.

MFS ammo, you can get it for about $8.95 for 20 or a box of 1000 for about $400. Or you can go for some American Eagle.
