Savage Axis Action and Boyd's stocks.

I was just looking on the Boyd's stocks website and it has options for short and long actions in the Savage Axis. This has me confused as I thought all Savage Axis rifles were only available as a long action. Hopefully someone can clear this up for me. Thanks in advance!

they are all long action but I think(not 100% sure) there may be some difference in magazines.

The action length/screw spacing is all the same, the difference is in the trigger guards and magazine.
