Savage Axis ll 308win

It's a trigger. You pull it, the gun goes bang, the bullet lands where you aim.

I have a Savage 110 in 243 with the accutriger, and it's fine. No knees of bees here, nor feline sleepwear. Just a functional and accurate, if ugly, rifle with a decent bang actuator.

But I purposely chose the 110 over the Axis. Despite the identicaltrigger, you get a much better, beefier action and stock. Both shoot just fine, but to my liking the Axis is too flimsy for anything like a 308.

Never really was a fan of the accutrigger but since I just purchased a new Axxis XP, I think it's a Pro model, in 243 for my daughter-in-law, I was playing with it a bit. I adjusted the trigger down to 3-1/4 lbs & for a hunting rifle I think it's just fine, heavy enough to not go off unwanted with gloves on but light enough to shoot at a range. For an economy (not really) hunting rifle it's just fine, wouldn't mind one myself!
