Savage axis with iron sights

Hi big axis fan here, I know I know shhh lol. But seriously anybody have any details on the axis's SFRC is offering with open sights installed. When I ordered one in 223 I asked the lady and she said they indeed are installed at the factory. I couldn't find any proof to this online. Any one have more info?

It is a distributor exclusive...i.e. one distributor had Savage make them for them.
