Savage Axis XP - Auction prices!

I just had to share this with you guys, auction prices are crazy but this one takes the cake.

Savage Axis XP .22-250, sold for $775 plus 15% buyer's premium, plus 3% Visa charge, plus Tax, plus shipping.
All in cost over $1000 for a $300 gun.

Buyer must have been caught up in the moment, and/or didn't know his stuff going into the auction.

It's crazy what ppl pay for used cheap rifles at auction. Then when a high dollar gun comes up and they start bidding at $750 no one bids

Yes auctions are KRAZZZY. Saw an SKS go for $1200.00 at the Paris show couple years back.

Auctions end up being a #### measuring contest for the most part. Basically 2 guys square off til one runs out of money/credit or nerve.
