Savage bolt action front bolt baffle - where to buy?

Anyone know where I can get a replacement part like the front bolt baffle? It’s the piece sandwiched between the floating bolt head and the bolt body. I want to switch my 223 version out for the standard one to use AICS mags. Thank you.

I did the same thing but took it to a gunsmith who took off about 3/16" from the bolt stop itself. Works great.

Just take the bolt apart and do it yourself.

Thanks for the link. My goal was not to cut the existing piece so I could return it back to the shorter bolt cycle if needed (say if I switch to 6br and use a MDT 6br mag. I guess if grinding is the only way, I will head that path.

For the amount you have to take off, it’s not a big deal. It will still work if you return to original. We are talking about 3/16” or a 1/4” at most. In practical, real world use, I doubt you’ll notice the difference.
