Savage bolt face for 7.62x39

I managed to snag a 7.62x39 barrel for a Savage rifle. I'm planning on putting it on a cheap-o 'stevens' short action rifle, which I do not yet have. I have 2 choices of bolt-faces - the .223 (.375") & the 22-250/308 (.473") family. Neither perfectly matches the 7.62x39 (.445"), although I suspect the 308 family will work. Can anyone confirm?

.308 face, but you will need a PPC extractor from Fred at SharpshooterSupply.com

Is that a .311" barrel or is it a 308 rechambered?

I'd be willing to buy your Steven's barrel, 22-250 243 or 7mm08 hint hint.

it's a .308, which is what I was after. I was kinda planning on keeping the original barrel as a switch barrel, but I'll keep your offer in mind. I'm just planning on getting whatever they have in stock, but I would prefer a 7mm-08 (or a 260, if savage chambered for it...) if available.
