Savage bolt hard to open after firing.

My friend have a MKII GL left hand with accutrigger. He got it yesterday and he was telling me he want to send it back because after firing the bolt is really hard to open. He noticed that it was ressetting the accutrigger and this seem to be the problem.

Anybody experienced the same problem? And any fix for this, does polishing the bolt would help?

The accutrigger does reset when the bolt handle is raised, that's a normal operation. Maybe some machining defect or sharp edge left over from improper finishing/assembly?

Or maybe just too new? Both mine smoothed out at about 1K rounds.

Thanks, maybe a good dissasembly and polishing to remove burr and sharp edges will do.
