Savage bolt head and related parts - How do you get them??

Was wondering where you guys can get bolt heads ans related parts? Some "authorized" gunsmith charge what ever they want for Savage parts. So far, I've been lucky with a US gunsmith but I'd like to have a local Canadian dealer.

At this point, Savage, under new management, is not exporting any parts.

There is a chance that will get resolved in the new year. who? What? Where? at what cost? No clue as they have not decided anything afaik.

More then likely, whatever supply is restarted will travel through Canadian supply to gunsmiths. Corporate Savage is not keen on selling gunparts to shooters anymore for fear of kaboom.

This was a couple of weeks ago speaking to Savage USA. If things have changed, I don't know as I have not called back.
