Savage bolt head

Does anyone know where to find a savage bolt head?

Changing calibre on a Savage rifle is pretty easy to do, swap out the barrel and bolt head (as long as they're both short or both long action calibers). Getting barrels are easy but where can I get the bolt head? Brownells is very unspecific as to which calibre they list.

Maybe I shold just give Savage a call about it...

I was directed to these guys when I went to change calibers on my Savage. They had one for me in stock. Also found out they are actually listed on Savage's website under "customer service - warranty & repair - canada"

+1 for Grech Outdoors. John Grech is a great guy to deal with, he just finished my .260 Remington/Savage changeover from .223

He is the Canadian Savage Warranty Ctr, if he does not have the parts he'll get them plenty fast.
