Savage BTSV Bipod

I've never bought or installed a bipod before but would like to put one on my savage BTSV for bench shooting. Does anyone have recommendations?

Harris is a great brand, Caldwell and others also good. You’ll want the short 6-9” model and I’d strongly recommend spending the extra $20 bucks and getting the pivot model instead of fixed model. Happy shooting!

^^^^I agree other than I'm 6'6" and prefer a 9-13" or taller.

Have Harris 1A2-BRM on my Savage BTVS. They work well together.

Thanks. Looking at the Harris S-BRM Bipod. I like the idea of the notched legs, any downside? Also Wolverine has them in stock so that's a plus.
