Savage clip breaks

7mm08 here as well and a few boxes of ammo through it plus a week of loading and unloading several times a day (fence crossings + tree stand climbing x morning and afternoon hunts) and it has never seemed like it was going to fall apart. I can't say im confident of its strength if i ever dropped it out of a stand on to a rock, though.
