I was looking at this savage cub.22-weights 3.3 lb-peep sight-accutrigger,looks like a pretty good grouse gun-anybody own one,how is it for accuracy?Epps has them listed for $233.

excellent for the little guys.
actually it was made for them

bought my children one.

I find it too small for a person of "normal" stature

I was thinking at only 3.3 lb it wouldn't be a bad choice for a backpacker-course its pretty close to my old cooey 39 which I already have

personally,I like the idea of a single shot for a kid-besides being safer,it teaches them to take their time and make each shot count.[the worst thing you can give them is a semi automatic]But I;m thinking of them as a lightweight backpacker grouse gun to carry when after bigger game

Best thing to do would be to go out and fondle one. If you can live with the deminuative stature of the rifle, you can't go wrong buying one

Not too many guys want to pack two fullsize/weight rifles-one for big game-another for grouse, in which the case the diminutive size and weight might be a positive factor for something that is going to be carried slung over your back.

Got one for my wife.
She's a tad under 5 ft. so its tough finding anything that "fits".
She loves it, it's quite accurate with the peep sights. I put in a slightly bigger peep as she felt the stock "hole" was just too small for her old eyes.
