Savage Euro Classic 30-06

Hi Guys,
I'm new here.
I'd like your opinion on my new gun. I just got myself a new Savage Euro Classic in 30-06 with a Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9X40 scope. The rifle has a beautiful oil finish. Can't wait to shoot it.
It will replace my old .303 Parker Hale and I plan on going deer and moose hunting with it.

Excellent choice IMHO. Savage is renowned for it's accuracy and the Euro is great looking firearm. Can't go wrong with the 30 06 . Happy hunting !

I'm looking at one of those too(.243), can't decide between the euro and the american. Love the raised comb and cheekpiece on the euro, guess I could remove the open sights. Do they make the euro anymore as it is not on savage's website?
