savage f or f/tr class rifle

does anyone know where if any there are in canada? i realize it is a long shot but thought i would try

Wholesale sports has 2....haha just kidding!! Doubt you could find one in Canada but FWIW you could buy a stevens and rebarrel and stock it for about the same price or if you got lucky find a used single shot savage and do the same thing, I'd guess accuracy wise you would come out ahead of the savage f class with a pac-n or other such. Here is a couple I built. Both are sporting pacnor bbls. The bbl blocked rifle is consitently in the .1's and low .2's for 5 shots, the one in the blue laminate stock is a a .308 that is showing lots of promise but I have not had much time to work with it.

I just got the new catalog and wholesale prices from the distributor. I am going to phone tomorrow and see if they can give me a date of delivery. I will post what they tell me on this thread. Kevin.

talked to the one of the BC distributors today and he says he has them on order but dosen't expect them till fall if they have filled all U.S. orders for them.

I was in SIR yesterday and they have 5 TR's in stock in .308 ,unless someone else can get them from the US direct don't hold your breath waiting.
