Been looking for a first bolt gun and this looks very interesting. Wonder how long before they are available up here? I see Buds has one on their site already for $959 state side.

there is a fellow who is building a bolt gun to accept ar mags on the boards here.. turns out since the mags are designed for the ar15, they still have to be pinned to 5shots or they are a prohib device, despite being used in a bolt gun

Use 10 round LAR mags.

I`ve seen them advertised in store, with a retailer in the edmonton area, for around $1300 and an expected delivery date of early 2012. I`m a little confused as to why they didn`t go with the hs or mcmillan stock, then they may have had something. Another example of savage trying to make a silk purse fom a sow`s ear.
