Savage hog hunter detachable magazine conversion.

Hi there I recently picked up a savage model 11 hog hunter in 223 , I'm wondering if There's a way to change it over so it has a detachable magazine.

There is a thread on here of someone who did just that. Personally if I had one I go full bore and get an MDT set up but cutting in to the stock is not for me.
