savage internal mag, staggered feed to center feed?

Did a search in the smithing page and didn't find anything.

I've got a stevens 200 in 223 with the staggered feed internal mag. It is attached to the receiver. One of the mag lips is slightly bent so that the 3rd round is always tricky to load.
Does anyone know if I can replace the staggered internal mag for one of the later version center feed mags that sit loose in the stock? Does the rifle still feed from the center feed mags?

I converted a stevens 200 to mag feed. No issues feeding.

was a 22-250 that I put it in a Savage 10 accustock and has a savage 12 barrel on it.
