Savage laminate stock question ...

Does anyone know which company makes Savage's OEM laminate stocks? I know my MkII is a Boyd's stock but I'm wondering about the stock on my Model 12 VLP, there's no stamp in the wood. The stock on the 12BTCSS also looks very similar to the Boyd's laminate varmint thumbhole.

I'm not too happy with how my stock fits me so I think I'll be doing some modifications. If I completely botch the job it would be a bit reassuring to know that I can simply buy a replacement.

To the best of my knowledge, Boyds makes all of their stocks.

I read somewhere that the laminate stalks for the Sav. LRBR rifles are produced by an Italian furniture company. You can order stalks from Savage as replacements.
