Savage Lightweight Hunter in 7mm-08 loads suggestion ?

I've yet to find a 7-08 personally that won't shoot superbly well with a 4350 powder...

Also give the 139gr interlock a try, I've filled my freezer with it 3yrs running in my 7-08 with distances from 35 meters to 310 Meters and have yet to track a deer shot with this... It's like hitting the off button.
minimal damage to meat, cheap to buy, easy to find a load for... And tested on moose as well.

Just tried 145gr Speer BT with IMR 4350 and Varget.
Best group of .505 moa came from 44gr of Varget.

Something in the 140gr is damn near perfect for the 7mm-08. Pick up a variety and go have some fun at the range.

Factory twist rates in 7-08 really like 140gr projectiles and speeds in the 2750-2850 ft/sec range.For an all round bullet use a bonded/partition/mono.

H4350, W760 , H414 etc......

ah yes, here you are! When I saw the thread title, I was going suggest getting a hold of you and your tons of great info on the 7mm-08.

45grains of IMR 4064 with 130grain speer boat tail soft points. can you say zoooom! clocked these at 3041 FPS out of my 22" barrel. Should be a dandy deer round, similar to 270 shooting 130grainers, and sub MOA at 100yds.
