Savage long action replacement stock.

What are the stock options for a savage 111 long action with detachable magazine (300 win mag) and heavy barrel? I know Hogue make one but I don't really like these stocks. MDT, Cadex and other chassis systems are great but expensive.

have a look at Boyds. I can offer these. Kind of a pain for specs as some features you want aren't offered in all stocks.

Some inletting of the forend might be needed to get both det mag AND heavy barrel.. Stuff like that.

But if you add more custom features you add, the better my pricing will be.

Keep your eyes open in the EE for a take off stock from a model 110 FCP HS Precision. I bought 2 of the ee for under $300 each mint condition with bottom metal and mag to boot. They have a Alum bedding block and are 10 times the stock a Boyds could ever hope to be.
