Savage Mark II amazing accuracy

I just thought I would post a couple pics of some groups I shot with my rifle. The rifle is a Savage Mark II BV 22 lr. I have a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14 scope on it. I am shooting CCI standard velocity 40 grain ammo. At 50 yards it will shoot 5 shot groups in the .4" range.

Hometownhero, I tried doing it a second time. Did it work? Or is that why you put them up?

Now go do that at 50 m.

Then when you shoot groups like that at 50, move it to 100m.

I will be doing just that tonight.

That's the model of Savage I recommend most. However, an accurate Savage isn't all that rare.

Kidding aside, a good part of those groups is your own technique, so well-done.

Good shooting... all of our Savage's like the CCI SV's also. My FV-SR groups pretty much like yours... my HM2 FV groups like that too, but it stays tight at 100 yards, where the FV-SR opens up a bit more.
