Savage mark ii fv forestock warped

Gentlemen, I noticed the forestock on my crappy plastic stock is touching the barrel on the right side near the front of the stock.

What do you think, should I apply some heat and try bending it back or dremel out the channel?

Sand it out, or find a new stock, there were several on the EE for not much coin a while back.

Maybe even get a nicer one...

get a Boyd evolution stock and better bottom metal. Scrap the tupperware stock.

put it on the opposite side over your register and see if it will warp back the other way, my shorty stevens would warp either way in the sun depending which side you layed it down

I have the same rifle with the exact issue on right side. Not sure of a fix.
