Savage Mark II FV Rings

Hi

I just got my first 22. Its a savage mark II FV. I have a Bushnell banner 3-9 x 40, that i would like to put on it. My question is what height of rings should i be putting on it??..sorry if this is been asked before. And mods please move it if it is in the wrong spot.

You might be able to use low rings but medium will work for sure with a 40mm lens.
