Looking to put a bipod on my Mark II FVT. I enjoy the rifle but find a comfortable stance is hard to achieve especially when the mag gets digs into your forearm. So I thought I would look into bipod options.

Find I need to use a scope now so that tends to complicate things. So lets here some ideas.
Thank you.

I use a Caldwell 6-9 with notched legs and pivot mount for my .22, .22WMR and .223 and it has worked out quite good and they cost about $60 or less.

My first bipod was a Caldwell and while I'd like to slam it as being crappier than a Harris (which I kind of think it is)....it served me well for 2 years, and has been serving the guy I gave it to for almost 3 years now. I think they're OK. I replaced it with a 9"-13" Harris non-swiveling bipod that I paid $79 for at my local dealer's no-tax event (about $13 more than a Harris knock-off Caldwell, after tax) Hunted with that for a couple of years, then bought a 9"-13" Harris swiveling bipod for $134+tax. It's the best I've used, and I have no complaints with it. If you were on a bench all the time, you don't really need the extra expense of a swiveling bipod...but if you only use your guns in the field like I do, the extra $ is well worth it.

I am mostly prone and bench shooting, non-competition, plink at hockey pucks, shot shell hulls and hard drives (occasional stuffed toy). So non-swivel will work. The FVT has the front sling swivel post that I believe the Harris models are designed to lock on to.
The Harris was the most favoured when I did a google on the topic.
I see LeBarons has Champion bipods on the online catalog. Any good?

spend the extra money and get a Harris model that pivots as there is no such thing as even ground or a level bench . Sure it will cost a bit more but the Harris will last you a liftime.
