hi fellow shooters, just got a savage mark ll FVSR 22 LR , great little rifle- just need some suggestions from you regarding scopes/sights-how about firesights?- this rifle has NO open sights -what would you suggest installing- i need a gunsmith/machinist to grind/inlet barrel to accept sights/ramp? -would have to be "higher than factory installed rail- so i could leave rail on" [so i could just remove rings/scope and aim open sighted. what type of rings/scope/adapter would i need? red-dot?/scout type scope? i think it is a picatinny rail that was factory installed so do i need an adapter to accept regular 22 weaver or tip-off rings? williams-millet-weaver-bsquare-kwiksite ?etc. thanks for any help.-sam.
