Just wondering if anyone has a Savage Mk II LV (or BV, as I hear they're the same thing???)

Don't care about trigger pull issues as that will be getting changed for a Sharp Shooter Supply or similar (if anyone has any suggestions...) trigger before I even bother shooting it. I'm more intested in hearing about accuracy, common FTF and the like.

I'm looking to use it mainly as an inexpensive target rifle, with the odd trip in search of bunnies and other small tasty furry creatures..

Savage is putting their accutrigger on most or all of their rimfires this year, so if you hold out till the new models come out, you may not need to do the trigger swap. Looks like they will be marketing non-accu-trigger models under the Stevens name as well. www.savagearms.com

me I put a rifle basix sears on mine, it's adjust at 3/4 pounds and is really crisppy, the safe work #1 and I drop my rifle some time on the basement floor and it never shoot buy itself ( really safe). It taked me 1/2 hours to install, and a 15 minutes to adjust. It's really better of the 4.5 pounds factory trigger and my groups come the 1/2 size now with competition ammo I shoot 5 shoots in 1/4 inch centre to centre at 50 yards before 1/2" is the best I can get.
