Yeah, I hear yah :) Managed to snag a MkII TR a month or so back.

Tough buggers to find and when you do they don't stick around long.

Glass is on the way too, hopefully will get it all together and out before the end of the month :)
 
Phuck... I sent emails to every board sponsor. they all said good luck... Called Prairie Gun Traders thanks to a tip from Savage tundra and he had one in the back...

I also just Ordered some EGW rings, 2 10 round mags and a rifle Basix trigger...
 
Well The Savage is here... What a great feeling stock... This is my first Boyds stock. I must say these thing are great.

got my Harris S-BRM with Pod LOC and EGW rings today. Just waiting on my Sightron and rifle Basix trigger to hit the range.

The one on my 10-FCPK was absolute garbage. So I switch to Rifle Basix, so I'm doing the same to my MK2...

One you shoot a savage with a rifle basix youll never go back to accujunk.... On the other hand Ruger's version of the accutriger works wonders....

Savage Model 93 MkII 17HMR with a Mueller 8-32X44 Target Scope mounted via Burris XTR Rings

Notched Harris Bi-pod "clone/copy" from eBay (even with Shipping it was less than 1/3 the price of a real unit).

Got a rear cheek rest/ammo holder on the way from Pantec (also on the cheap)

Just love the stock, fits like a glove and feels very purposeful.
 
I have 1 Atlas and 3 Harris with Pod Loc. Harris is as cheap as I will go... There only 101.49$ from Brownells. Unlike the Atlas witch is a mortgage payment... lol ...

Ive been fondling the stock and it seems to be a great fit for me as well...

I know they are not the same but last week i ordered from Wantstalls a Mk11 FVT 22lr with diopter sight, first time i get a rifle with those sights... JP.
 
i recently purchased a savage mark ll tr as well... i have to say for the money... one of the best .22's out there. i outfitted mine with a nikon monarch 4-16x42 and its a keeper. most accurate .22lr i have ever owned... and will probably be the last one i buy.
