Been looking at one of the new bolt action Savage MkII BV's in the blued with the laminate stock with the new accu-trigger....

1. Who's shooting one & how do you like it?

2. What do you have it scoped with?

Hi NAA

I will start off by saying that I DO NOT have this gun, but I have shot one, and had the chance to compare it to other guns in its price range.

Although it was accurate, and fairly nice looking, IMHO it is NOT up to the same class as the CZ 452's. The CZ 452's have great crafstmanship and superior accuracy for the money you spend on them.

For $20, you can buy a trigger kit of the CZ's that will bring the trigger pull down to whatever you want.

Having said all this, if you really want a Laminated stock, and the Savage fits your bill just right I would not hesitate to get one :).

MY CZ is scoped with a Bushnell 3200 :)

I had the MarkII-F, I guess the only different is the stock and 1/4" shorter
barrel, the whole gun is only 173 bucks, very accurate, we used it for
auto-reset target competition at 30 yards with truglo-open sight, you can
score 10 out of 10 easily with it. Sold it to my friend now he's using it for
50 yards competition with REX Scope 3-9x40AO. Good accu-trigger and cheap
looking magazine that actually works ...lol...
