Hello everyone, after being away from shooting for a while I’m starting to get back into it.
I’m considering upgrading my .22 bolt gun. Right now I have a Savage Mark II in a Boyd’s Pro Varmint stock (green) with a Falcon 4-14 FFP scope.
I’m thinking about selling the package but I’m not sure what a reasonable value would be. I used to see this gun/stock combo listed fairly often but I’m not seeing many lately maybe because of the newer B22 models.
What would be a fair price for the package? Alternatively, what do Boyd’s Pro Varmint stocks with the metal trigger guard/bottom metal typically sell for used?
I’m also considering putting the rifle back in the factory stock and running a smaller scope to make it lighter and just keeping it.
I checked Boyd’s website and with shipping and hardware it looks like one would cost close to $400 CAD to get here now, so I’m not sure what a fair used value would be for one in like-new condition.
