Savage MkII FVSR - Video review

Good video.

When testing ammo I found that you need to start with a clean bore and shoot anywhere between 25 - 100 rounds of the kind of ammo you want to test to foul the bore. Then I shoot at least 10 - 5 shot groups for an average, after the barrel settles in. Then repeat for each type of ammo.

How do you like that scope? I've been interested in trying one.

Those groups are indicative of a properly fouled barrel. I didn't shoot the video in one day. :)

It's OK for the price. My only gripe is that the elevation turret is marked backwards. You still turn it the correct way to change the POI, but the hash lines are numbered backwards. :(

did you try groups without the linear brake?

There was no change in group size with the brake on or off. POI shifted a touch, but not significantly.
