Looking for stock savage mkii scope mounts and screws.
I still have the stock rings.
I'm not a scope guy. I predominantly shoot irons on all my guns but I've recently gotten into varmint dispatching and I need to scope the old girl.
The rings I have are what I believe to be stock savage rings with a bolt that goes straight through the base to squeeze the sides of the ring bases onto the mounts. Correct me if I'm wrong but these would be weaver style?
Anyhow I'm just looking for a set of the stock mkii mounts and screws. All I can find online seem to be tactical picatinny type mounts or very expensive style after market type setups which is ridiculous overkill for what I need in a cheap very accurate gopher gun.
Anyone know a good source to get the cheap savage mkII stock weaver mounts and mount screws?
Anyone correct me please if I'm confused on this or using wrong terminology.

Ha! It is indeed the 16 weaver mount.
It looks like my local sporting good store may have them. Albeit likely at a stomach churning price no doubt....
I see them online for about $5 each but I need to get this scope mounted before next week.
Search is on.
Thanks guys

Just to add in.

I just scoped my Savage MkII G. Picked up the Weaver #16 mounts at Dicks when I was in Buffalo (they’re cheaper here). A Cabela’s .22LR Rimfire 3-9x40 Scope that was on sale for $110 and Weaver rings in Maple. Medium height iirc. A bit tight, but it works and I like it.

Going to use it at Mapleseed this weekend and see how I do.

Cheers,

I think I've got a spare set of the Weaver mounts, and I've definitely got a 20moa EGW rail for the mkii available in Calgary.

Edit- I'll check on the Weaver bases tonight, if I've got em they're yours if you want to pick em up.
