Is anyone else having small problems with the clips on the Savages not feeding properly with the first and last shots? I have a 10 shot and 5 shot clips for the .22 and both do the same. I also have a .17 that acted up but I think and hope it cleared itself up before gopher season:mad:

I've noticed that on my two 10 round mags the last 4 or 5 rounds can not feed properly. The mag needs to be pushed back and up. It's mildly annoying and I'd like to grab some more 5 round mags. I don't think it's the gun. But it could be.

I wounder if the clips need to be crimped a little on the very top to hold the shells down a little bit and I have noticed that clips sometimes need to be pushed up!!! Its a pain in the arse when it happens in the middle of a gopher barrage and the shell hangs up..The problem is either in the design
of the gun or clips as it also happens in my .17 same type of gun

You can adjust the ears at the back of the mag to make the cartridge sit at a different angle .I have done this with the 3 five round mags for my savage wmr .I have aslo tinkered with the rail the mag slides onto it now feeds perfect every time now.if you have the problem that the cartridges will all eject from the mag on there own.you need to set the ears closer together.some tinkering required:cool:
