Anybody know where I could find myself a magazine for a Savage mod 19 NRA? I've been looking for a long time. Thanks.

These are nifty rifles, barrel n' receiver are one piece. Worth your while trying to find a magazine for sure. Magazines pop up from time to time on gunbroker, n' fleabay.

I would also consider trying to modify a different magazine to work with it. New Mossberg(702) n' Marlin(70/795) magazines both are slim profile, straight bodied, and cheap enough to experiment on.

Ya it looks like it could be a nice rifle. Needs a little TLC, it's been hidden away at my parents cottage for years.

The magazine you seek depends on the year of Manufacture of the rifle, if the 19 NRA is made prior to 1933 then the magazine will be tougher to find and pricey, the 1933 NRA uses a standard magazine that fits many models and is made by aftermarket manufactures.

I have best luck finding magazines at gunshows myself.
