The A and B series seems to be Savage's new line of semi-auto and bolt-action rimfires, respectively.

This specific model I don't see on Savage's website as of time of writing. It does have the stainless plus iron sights that I really dig though

(I'd personally jump for a "MOD B17 FVSS" (?) [stainless, iron sights, varmint barrel, 17hmr] if Savage ever makes one.)

My local gun shop has both the heavy barrel and the heavy threaded barrel. So they definitely exist.
