Savage Model 10 Accustock on a Model 11 Varmint?

I currently own a Model 11 Trophy Hunter Varminter in .223. I am considering buying the Model 10 FCP-SR wtih the 24" barrel in .308. Will the accustock off the model 10 fit on the model 11? I would consider buying a MDT chassis for the Model 10.

Forgive my lack of knowledge, I couldn't find a definitive answer.
 
I don't know about the stock but I'm considering a savage 10 fcp, just want to know what sort of prices for these. In Winnipeg, found a 20 inch at a lgs for $869 and a 24 inch at Canadian tire for $769. I also found a ruger precision rifle for $1350 to $1600, I wonder if I should get the ruger. The ruger might be cheaper if I decide to upgrade the savage stock with an adjustable stock later.

If they both have a bottom, bolt release then they will swap. If they are top release, double check bolt spacing.
 
I have the same question. Will an Accustock off of a top release Savage 10 fit on a bottom release Savage 11 action?
 
Yes and no. The barreled action will fit however you might have to reshape the recoil lug from the model 10 to fit in the accustock's recess for that part. You might also have to open up the stock on the left side for the bolt release. Remember, this part is also the sear so it need to be able to move freely.

Thanks Scott. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you but I think I'm trying to do the opposite of the scenario you explained? I have a Savage 11 bottom release action and I'm thinking about buying an Accustock off of a Savage 10 top release action. Apologies if I did I not read you properly?
