Savage Model 10 FLCP-SR .308??

I just took mine out for the first time today. I have the camo version with the steel mag. I am in love. Smooth action, nice fit and finish, forgiving butt pad, and accuracy seems to be promising. I ran some hand loads through it and considering I am new to shooting and reloading I was more than satisfied with my results.
 
Old with digital sand camo and AI mags. It also came with a 20 MOA rail. I still use it as my precision match gun. Untouched totally stock.

where and when did you buy it? i wouldnt mind trying to buy the old one in left hand but im worried they never made it in LH. only the new one :(
 
I ordered it in December from my local canadian tire. His price was the lowest I could find by a fair amount. I know hical.ca had a few around Christmas. Also a small shop in town here has one as well. No left hand models out of the ones I saw
 
the new FCP-SR has a 0 MOA rail and plastic savage mags.. but it comes in left hand. if i dont like the mags and stock ill likely throw it in a better chassis and get AI mags.
 
Talked to my local CTC manager today, they can get these in, lots in stock at supplier, they have the camo finish, does this mean they are the old stock with the metal mag!?!?
 
apparently still a hit or miss with the magazine quality for these rifles.... i might give it another month or two for them to iron out the defects... does anyone know the pricing on the new fcp-sr in canada?

$849..thanks to the low Canadian dollar. However, Savage is doing a $100 rebate. So, it sort of cancels things out.
